Turkey Vulture Control

Turkey Vultures are present everywhere in the U.S. They like any climate - plains, desert or forest, and will often even winter in colder locals. They tend to hang out in rather large numbers. It's not at all uncommon to see 70 or more roosting together in trees, towers etc. They can be a different type of nuisance than other birds. Considerations:

• First off, they're just plain ugly. Their featherless head is kind of creepy, but it serves a purpose: making it easier to forage inside the carcass of a dead animal. Yuck!
• Turkey Vultures have been known to literally attack structures. Roofing materials, caulking and other surfaces can be destroyed by these large pest birds.
• They have been known to leave bones even carcasses in all sorts of places, many of which can be very unpleasant to people.
• Because of their size, their leaving can be quite large and can accumulate quickly. This can cause roofing problems and heath risks to people and pets.
• Their feces can also contain small bones, hair and other disgusting things and can be found just about anywhere.
